Rules of Residence
'08 − '09
- The Willow house will be treated with the utmost respect that a new, proper fraternity house deserves. Anything less than our fullest respect is a travesty against the brotherhood and the blessing we have received.
- No smoking of any kind will be allowed in any part of the house interior. No event shall ever constitute an exception to this rule.
- To maintain the security of the house at all times, no one other then an active member of the Mu-Upsilon chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon shall be in possessions of a key to the chapter house. All guests must be let in by a member of TKE.
- To maintain the cleanliness of the house, clean-ups must take place twice a week and achieve a standard of excellence as if the investors were to visit the next day.
- To maintain the dignity of the house, every broken, damaged, misplaced, disrespected, or dishonored piece of property within or on the house and house grounds must be replaced within 72 hours unless otherwise discussed with the housing corporation.
- To maintain the habitability of the chapter house, a stipend must be provided, from dues, as determined by the chapter treasurer for the purchase of, but not limited to, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, house material for repairs, CFC light bulbs, and any and all other material needed to maintain the house in as best a shape as possible.
- To maintain the respect we have in the house, the housing corporation and the residents of the Willow house must be committed to a constant and effective dialog so that all parties meet the requisite standards each expects.
- To maintain the most minimal of environmental impact due to house activities, the house must commit to a recycling program, minimal electrical and water usage, and the eventual implementation of realistic green energy practices.
